Reverse Circulating Flapper Valve

Application

Taylor Made Reverse Circulating Flapper Valve is deployed with the Ball Seat pinned to the Shear Ring.  The flappers are held open by the Ball Seat tube to allow for reverse circulation through the flappers.

Once reverse circulation has been completed, a ball is circulated to the Ball Seat.

Pressure is applied to the shear the Ball Seat from the Shear Ring.  The ball and Ball Seat drop into the Flow Sleeve allowing the flappers to operate normally.  Flow is diverted through and around the Ball Seat tube into the slots of the Flow Sleeve.
