Quick Connector

Application

The Taylor Made Quick Connector is used to connect a BHA to the end of coiled tubing. Torque transmission is provided by notching the end of the pipe. The notched pipe aligns with lugs in the connector. A variation of the Quick Connector can be used to splice two pieces of coiled tubing together, when installing safety valves, nipples, etc.

Design Features

	Torque Transmitting
	Two tapered half-moon wickered slips, for ease of installation
	Two piece body with tapered I.D.; drives the slips against the coiled tubing as tightened.
	Sealed for circulating.
	The notched end of the coiled tubing provides torque transmission. The connector template aids in applying the notches.
