Application

The Taylor Made Hydro Mechanical J Adapter can convert any standard J series pulling tool to operate mechanically with hydraulic assist.  When the adapter is attached to a standard J pulling tool, applying slack off weight and pumping through the tool will lock the pulling tool in the released position.  Returning to neutral weight and allowing pressures to stabilize will allow the tool to re-engage the fish neck.  A low rate of circulation will not cause the tool to release.  A lock out feature within the adapter secures the pulling tool core to prevent core movement before activation to the release position.
