We have proven tools with Case Histories: Just a few samples:
February 1996, Gulf of Mexico: A coiled tubing job using the Indexing Tool consisted of leaving 2 7/8" tubing; entering 5 1/2" casing; and re-entering 2 3/8" tubing gravel-pack packer and screen. A common wash tool was run below the Indexing Tool. All prior attempts to get down with conventional CTU wash tools had failed.
Major service company and oil company used the Hydro-Mechanical Tool to retrieve and reset a through tubing gravel pack. Did not want to disturb the gravel pack. Gravel pack was retrieved and reset was successful. The job was done in the Louisiana Gulf Coast area.
Inside 3 1/2" tubing using 1 1/2" coiled tubing, the Taylor Made Locator identified nipples and tubing end to set Packer, in excess of 15,000 FT. Logging proved Packer was set within 9-12". All other (non Taylor Made) CCL attempts failed. Taylor Made's Tubing End Locator was successful.
